Chief Sir Maurice Emeka Akueme is a UK based accountant, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Born on the 29th June, 1975, he hails from Umuozolu in Amaebota Village in Ukana town, Udi LGA of Enugu State.
He is the CEO of The Mexol Group, which consists of Mexol Accounting Solutions Ltd, Mexol Business Solutions, Mexol Financial Services, Mexol Travel & Tours UK Ltd and also the President/Founder of The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF).
The Maurice Akueme Foundation is a UK & Nigeria based charitable foundation with the stated objective to alleviate, palliate and empower lives.
Through the Foundation, Sir Maurice has been able to touch live of people too numerous to mention.
Maurice attended the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and also an MBA (Finance).
He’s a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants Worldwide, Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK), Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia), He worked with GT Bank Plc rising to the position of branch operations manager before leaving Nigeria for the United Kingdom in 2005.
He was on Saturday August 29th, 2020 inducted into the Ohaneze ndi Igbo hall of fame/honour as the #Njikokamma Enugu State.
He’s married to Lolo Olivia Ebubechukwu Akueme and they are blessed with five lovely children.
