Nsukka Lawyers General Assembly Disclaims Solidarity Visit To Senator Ike Ekwerenmadu
Nsukka Lawyers General Assembly on Saturday through her National Coordinator Priscilla Ozioko Mrs, stated during her statement to give clarifications on the “revelation” that neither the association nor its leaders had made or planning to make any solidarity visit to Senator Ike Ekweremadu.
She said that the attention of the Nsukka Lawyers General Assembly has been drawn to a news item on a solidarity visit to Senator Ike Ekweremadu by purported members of Nsukka Lawyers Forum.
According to the members “we wish to bring to the attention of the general public that we are not in any way involved in the said visit and hereby dissociate our noble association from the visit and all that it purports. Our association, known as Nsukka Lawyers General Assembly is an umbrella body for all lawyers of Nsukka origin, irrespective of place of practice. We are a noble professional association and, as a policy, we do not get involved in partisan politics”.

This disclaimer became necessary because of the similarity of names of associations and the anonymity of the individuals involved in the visit.
Nsukka Lawyers General Assembly is a noble association that works effectively with understanding and never neglected the fact to discharge its duty according to the profession.
