MTN ICT and Business Skills Training 2019 Opportunity

The MTN ICT and Business Skills initiative aimed at building the capacity of young people in the area of ICT while contributing to their employability and entrepreneurial ability.

The training will involve ICT/Employability and basic business skills, and would be facilitated by MTNN Ecosystem partners (IBM, KPMG, Google, Digital Bridge Institute and Oracle).

Note:

90% of jobs across all sectors will require technological skills and the future is here, are you ready

The training programme is free and open to youths between the ages of 18 – 35 years old who are interested in leveraging on ICT.

Terms and Condition

I, in consideration of my application to participate in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Business Skills Training Programme organized by MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited by Guarantee (which includes MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, the MTN Group or any of their related entities) (“MTNF”) (hereinafter referred to as “the Training”), hereby represent, warrant, state and agree as follows:

1. That my application to MTNF for the training is voluntary and entirely at my own risk, and MTNF shall bear no liability for any efforts made or expectation of success in the application.
2. That all documents submitted pursuant to my application for the training are genuine and contain no false statements or representations.
3. That I accept that MTNF, its agents and representatives have the sole discretion to determine the eligibility and qualification for the training as well as the successful award of the training certificates and I agree that I would have no claim against MTNF either for non-selection for the training or for anything done or omitted to be done pursuant to the consideration of my application.
4. That I accept that MTNF or its authorized agents have exclusive, irrevocable and unrestricted rights to use, re-use, edit, alter, publish, republish or distribute my application, pictures and/or videos for any promotional purposes or publication applied in any form and anywhere within and outside Nigeria at the discretion of MTNF and I hereby unconditionally waive all rights, whether in law or otherwise, that I may have in respect of the publication and the protection of my privacy.
5. That I grant these foregoing consent and indemnity unconditionally with respect to any and all actions taken pursuant to my application and agree that this consent and indemnity shall continue indefinitely.
6. That I hereby consent to a waiver of all accruable rights, benefits and privileges whether in law or otherwise that I may have under the training or the selection process.
7. That I indemnify and hold MTNF and their agents or privies harmless against any liabilities, damages, losses, claims and/or proceedings they may suffer and/or costs they may incur from defending any claims brought by me or anyone acting for me in respect of the terms of this Agreement.
8. I grant these foregoing rights of release and indemnity unconditionally and free of charge to MTN, with respect to any and all media and methods of information dissemination, transmission, circulation and/or distribution of any publication of the training and hereby reiterate the indemnity set out above for the benefit of MTN.
