Handyware Industries Limited is an FMCG Manufacturing Company. We are into the production of seasoning, flavors, and food ingredients.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Executive
Locations: Lagos and Ogun and Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Develop new key distributors by creating awareness of all company’s products and drive secondary sales within the assigned area
- Create awareness and visibility of all company’s products in the assigned area; hospitals, hotels, schools, fast food outlets, canteens, cooperative societies, campuses of higher institutions etc.
- Be involved in promotional activities through trade shows, event marketing and activation within the assigned area
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key distributors to drive sales of all company’s products in the assigned area.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential customers and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 2 – 5 years relevant work experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive in FMCG (B2B) Food Products
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Good experience in open-market sales
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
