How to apply
EUROSUD Erasmus Mundus Scholarship applications are OPEN for September 2021 entry – APPLY NOW! We welcome applications from students around the world.
You can apply as:
- an Erasmus Mundus scholarship-funded student
- a self-funded studentSelf-funded students participating in the EUROSUD programme may benefit from receipt of Erasmus+ grant funding, which the Consortium will apply for on the students’ behalf. This funding is dependent on availability in a given semester; however, when available it usually equates to around 300-350 euros per month for six months during mobility 2, and six months during mobility 3.
All applications for the EUROSUD programme and Erasmus Mundus scholarships must be submitted online to the University of Glasgow. We cannot accept applications any other way.
You have 42 days to submit your application once you begin the process. You may save and return to your application as many times as you wish to update information, complete sections or upload supporting documents such as your final transcript or your language test. Brexit Statement February 2020
We would like to assure students and applicants that their current or future participation in EUROSUD will not be impacted by Brexit. The programme will continue to run until the end of its current funding period in 2024 and we anticipate that it will continue beyond then.
The Withdrawal Agreement foresees that the UK will continue to participate in the current 2014-2020 EU programmes, including Erasmus+, as if the UK was an EU Member State until the closure of the programmes. This means that UK beneficiaries can continue to take part in grants awarded under the current MFF until their end date, even if it is after 2020.

This means that the EUROSUD programme will continue to run in its current form until at least the 2022-2024 intake.
As a UK-based institution, the University of Glasgow will fully participate in Erasmus+ until further notice.
