2 Ways To Check Your 2023 JAMB UTME Results

The Joint Administration and Matriculation Board(JAMB) has officially announced that the 2023 UTME results of their candidates will be released on the 2nd of May, 2023 and here are two easy steps to check it:

Method 1(SMS Method):

This is a simple method. Using the GSM number you used to register for JAMB, send UTMERESULT through SMS to 55019 and your results will be sent to you within minutes.

N.B: A service fee of N50 will be deducted from your airtime balance.

Method 2(Portal Method)

N.B: JAMB results are only accessible through the portal 2 weeks after the final exams.

To check your results, you need to access the 2023 JAMB Result Checker and  proceed with the following simple steps;

• First, go to www.jamb.gov.ng, the official JAMB portal.
• Next, locate and click on ‘E-facility’ on the menu bar
• On the page that shows up, click on the ‘UTME 2023 Main Results Notification Slip’ button
• On the next page, enter your ‘Reg Number’ or ‘GSM Number’ on the space provided
• Then Click on ‘ Check My Result’ to complete the steps
• And wow…, your result should now be displayed on the screen for you.

N.B: You must have a JAMB profile first before checking your results through the portal 

To Create a Profile Follow this steps

• Go to https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
• Click on the ‘create an account button'(Make sure you have a working email address)

• Input the required information then click on ‘Verify e-mail’
• Log in to your email and click on the JAMB message and click the ‘Verify account’ link
• Input the remaining information and create your profile
• Login and you’re done

JAMB UTME Result Portal | Printing Original Jamb Result

After checking your 2023 Jamb results, you may also want to get it printed for the purpose of admission or as a reference document. You will also follow the steps below to print your Jamb result.

• Log on the jamb portal e-facility via jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
• Check for ‘Post Registration’ E-facility menu and click on “Print Result Slip”

Further Notes:

• All candidates, who could not sit the 2023 UTME within their scheduled time owing to no fault of theirs, would be rescheduled to take the examination on Saturday, 6th May, 2023.
